Kudos to the Desura guys for doing this. I think it's some exciting times ahead.
They hint at new games coming, including some never seen on Linux before, as well. That's also exciting to me. I'm not suddenly thinking Linux will become a huge gaming platform enough to completely get rid of Windoze but geez, this is a step in the right direction alright

Yeah i tried it a few days ago but it isn't working for Linux yet... can't login to it...
definately exciting to see a Steam like Unified Platform for running Linux games though.... kudos!

you have to go to http://www.desura.com/blog and join the group, eventually you'll get an invite to participate the Linux beta. I'm still waiting, so I still don't know how well this works, until they let me log on.
