Looks like LibreOffice is really taking off...... lots of contributors and new features are rocking up.

Very niiiceee... But to be honest they use a horrible toolkit that doesn't integrate with anything very well.
I think the Libreoffice team really should clean up their code and work on the speed of the software much more.
They're focusing on things that aren't really needed (I.E. Lotus import support isn't used much) when they really should fix their crappy ui already!

I have read a little while ago that they are working on cleaning up the code and improving/redesigning the overall look of
LibreOffice in Future. If I could remember where I read it i'de link it...... we'll just have to wait and see eh

I like libre office. Why should I piss away hundreds of dollars on M$ office when I could get a perfectly good office suite for free. One that can even save in M$ office formats.
