Kubuntu Effects

I've just changed to Kubuntu 10.04 and when I log out or restart my computer it doesnt seem to keep my effects running when I log back in, anyone have this same prob?

Kubuntu, just installed, thought I would add some tweaks a ppa or 2, firefox nightly etc, dumb me, couldn`t seem to navigate kpackagekit to list individual items. ok workaround ; install muon:http://kde-apps.org/content/show.php/?content=137507

muon eh? cool. I know muon is gonna be the default software manager in 11.10. Havn't played much with it myself though... dunno why they don't just port
ubuntu software centre to Qt and chuck it in Kubuntu Rolling Eyes
