Look. I'm not even going to download the finished .ISO...
I'm burned out on Ubuntu. I don't like the way it runs at all under any of the spinoffs..
But, for those who are interested in this, have at it...

Clem needs all the help and support he can get. He's eventually going to be faced with such a bitchin workload
when MIR comes out and their new package manager comes out that I predict he's going to turn LMDE up.
Riding Ubuntu is like trying to give an Elephant a hugg.
Running Ubuntu for me is like pole balancing on top of 15 feet of Jello. There are memory leaks in everything, especially their silly ass software manager. Everything runs so fucking slow!!! SLOW!!!! GOD SLOW!!!!!
Ubuntu shunned Init D. Ubuntu shunned Wayland. Ubuntu divorced themselves from the entire world with this package manager change.
Just think of this. A mere year ago, we were all told that Ubuntu was cash strapped and they had to add these scope lenses in Unity Dash so they could help PAY THE BILLS!!!
Then what does the fucking guy do?? What does he do??? He divorces himself from the entire FOSS world.
So, now! Everything Ubuntu develops they will have to maintain on their own. They will have to carry the entire cost $$$ of everything they do forward now as they divorced themselves from FOSS and all that free labor in development.
What Mark Shuttleworth did was pour an entire bottle of alcohol on his fucking nuts...
Now, CLEM on the other hand is different. Clem and Phillip of Crunchbang were both under Ubuntu just a couple of years ago. Phillip left for Debian and Clem continued on. Clem chose to stay under Ubuntu and Mark Shuttleworth.
Everybody is responsible for their own lives!! This was a choice Clem made.
I've done my patriotic duty and wrote my message about LMDE up on the Mint forums. I encourage everyone to do so.
My feelings are that under the current set of circumstances, Cinnamon is in jeopardy. Not only will Clem have to spend the tremendous manpower to have to fight Ubuntu but,,,,, BUT,,,,, let's not forget that Clem also has a concurrent battle with the GNOME team.. He's fighting wars on 2 fronts here and he's undermanned...
It would be far simpler for him to cut down his fights to just Gnome under LMDE...
And the horrible thing about my warning here is simple. We don't know what else Mark Shuttleworth might consider changing in the future. He has already divorced himself from FOSS. Will he then decide to divorce himself from the applications and go total commercial next??? Do like Droid did....
And with Ubuntu going into tablets and phones, this is absolutely a possibility. And if that happens, then just what in the fuck will Clem do then???
If you give a shit about Cinnamon at all, or the work Clem did, you should write a polite message up on Linux Mint forums in the hopes that we can get Clem to read them and make him aware of our concerns...
Otherwise, it's my feeling that Cinnamon will go right down the fucking trash can and take LMDE right down with it.
There is way too much emphasis on the Ubuntu based Cinnamon Linux Mint edition. WAY TOO MUCH!!!
